The Douro unveiled in every bottle
Located in the Baixo Corgo region, in Lamego. Since the 1970s, the activity of Quinta do Mourão has expanded to other properties, all in privileged locations, in the sub-regions of Baixo and Cima Corgo, totaling 50 hectares. The diversity of soils, exposures, and altitudes enrich this project, opening up a wide range of possibilities to fulfill this noble mission of revealing the Douro through unique wines.
The Winery
An Ode to the Passage of Time
To ensure the quality of the wines produced here and in pursuit of modernizing the project, a new winery was built from the ground up, equipped with all the facilities for winemaking, aging, and bottling on the property. In addition to the new winery, there is also the Port Wine cellar, where the greatest treasures are stored. In the eleven casks and dozens of pipes, thousands of liters of Old Generous Wine are stored, some produced more than 100 years ago.
